A. You can pay your fees 4 times each year one at the beginning of each term

A. Payments should be made by demand draft in the name of B.E.S. BARNES SCHOOL payable at the State Bank of India in Devlali.

A. This is an english medium school.
Hindi is compulsory in the I.C.S.E examination.

4. About Lodging : Do the boys have vegetarian food?
A. Yes, we offer full vegetarian food as well as non-vegetarian.
5. What non-veg items do you give?
A. Mutton, chicken, fish and egg.
6. Can the boys have extra milk?
A. They can have extra milk which is served during morning breakfast.
7. Are there separate vegetarian dining areas?
A. There are separate veg and non-veg cooking and dining areas.
8. Do you have weekly boarders?
A. Yes, we do have arrangements for boarders to go home on weekends.
9. When do we register for Std. 11?
A. The registration for Std. 11 is open and will be held on 13th June 2010.

10. How can we register?
A. All registrations for admission can be done by downloading the form from the website and mailing the same to the school office with a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- as registration and prospectus fees. Admission dates are on the website. Candidates will have to appear for an entrance examination as specified in the admission procedures.
11. From which Std. can boarders be admitted?
A. Boarders can be admitted from the Prep Std. which is an age group of 4 ½ years and above
12. Do you have bus facilities?
A. We have door-to-door pick up and drop facility with a fleet of 5 school-owned buses.
13. What co-curricular activities do you have?
A. We have music, singing, dramatics, debates, quizzes and elocution.
14. What sporting activities do you have?
A. Besides regular games and sports we have fencing, boxing, swimming, cross-country and tennis.
15. Where do we get our uniforms and books from?
A. Uniforms and books can be purchased from school authorized dealers. A dealer list can be obtained from the school office.
16. Are there adequate medical facilities?
A. We have two qualified nurses for the boys and girls and two visiting doctors.
17. When can parents visit their children?
A. Parents can visit their children on weekends, i.e. Saturdays and Sundays between 9:30 – 11: 30 a.m.
And 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
18. What is strictly forbidden?
A. Cigarettes, liquor, gutka, ragging, bullying and mobile phones (supervised usage only)
19. How many times a year do you have examinations?
A. We have two terms a year.
20. When does your academic year begin?
A. Our academic year is from June – April.
