Quest for Excellence: Inter-House Cultural Fest 2026
The Inter-House Cultural Fest for Middle School was held in April 2026, bringing together students in a vibrant celebration of talent and creativity. The event featured a diverse range of competitions, including elocution, debate, dance, quiz, and mathletics. Junior Voices Shine at Marathi Elocution Competition
On 28th April 2026, our Junior School hosted the Marathi Elocution Competition. Students from Grades 1 to 4 showcased their confidence and eloquence, making the event truly memorable. The young participants spoke with remarkable clarity and enthusiasm, reflecting their deep connection to the Marathi language and culture.
On 30th April 2026, our talented boarder girls and boys brought creativity to life with a delightful stage performance — “The Princess Who Couldn’t Laugh.” The play showcased not only their acting skills but also teamwork, imagination, and the joy of storytelling.
On 29th April 2026, our school celebrated the brilliance of young minds who excelled in the International Mathematics Olympiad (December 2025). By the time of felicitation, these achievers had already stepped into their next grades — a true reflection of growth and progress. On 18 April 2026, our Middle School hosted its Annual Prize Day, a vibrant celebration of student talent and achievement. We were honoured to welcome Mr. K.C. Pandey, owner of the Gargoti Museum, as our Chief Guest. On 11 April 2026, our Junior School celebrated its Annual Prize Day, a joyous occasion honouring the achievements and talents of our students. We were privileged to have Sr. Tessi Anto from Sacred Heart Convent High School as our Chief Guest.
22 Stars Shine at Barnes School’s Olympiad Awards
What an unforgettable day it has been at Barnes School! The International English Olympiad 2024–25 Award Ceremony was a celebration of talent, effort, and achievement by our incredible students. On 23rd April, 2025, Grades 5 and 6 had an inter-house cultural fest, packed with four thrilling categories — Debate, Elocution, Mathletics, and Quiz. The second day of the fest, held on 24 April, 2025, for Grades 5 and 6, was dedicated to showcasing theatrical brilliance. Students presented a variety of engaging performances that emphasized the art of storytelling. Each act reflected their talent & creativity, and the event concluded with recognition from the judging panel.
Barnes School Voices Shine in Elocution Contest
On 31st July 2025, we announced the winners of the Elocution Competition held on 23rd July 2025. The competition had showcased not only eloquence but also the courage to speak with conviction. On August 26, 2025, winners of the Best Out of Waste and Rakhi Making competitions were felicitated for their creativity & imagination. Blue House Leads with Conviction in Environmental Debate
On August 4th, 2025, Evans Hall buzzed with spirited debate as middle school students tackled the motion: “Should developing countries invest in making environmental reforms?” The debate not only tested critical thinking but also highlighted awareness of global issues.Barnes School Cadets Earn Honours at CATC‑515
From 25th July to 3rd August, 21 students from Barnes School participated in NCC Camp CATC-515 held at the Artillery Centre, Nashik. Gatha Vaidya won silver in Drawing; Nilanjan earned a medal in Debate. The camp instilled discipline, leadership, and patriotism among cadets.
On 6th August 2025, the Middle School Elocution Competition 2025–26 brought together students of Classes 7 and 8 for an inspiring showcase of talent. Hosted by a Class 8 student, the event encouraged confidence and communication, with judges and teachers applauding the participants.
Barnes School Cadets of Literature Shine at Fr George Hess Memorial
From August 2–6, 2025, 19 students represented Barnes School at the Fr George Hess Memorial Literary Competition. Several students qualified for Regionals across Debate, Declamation, and Drawing. The experience not only honed literary and artistic abilities but also fostered teamwork and resilience.The August fest concluded with a felicitation ceremony on September 2, recognizing winners across Debate, Quiz, Elocution, Dance, and Mathletics. The event underscored the importance of nurturing confidence, creativity, and critical thinking among students.
On September 3rd, the spotlight was on the classes that stood out in English proficiency, discipline, and cleanliness. The awards celebrated their hard work, dedication, and teamwork, while also acknowledging the contributions of every section in maintaining high standards across the school.
ASISC Fr George Hess Memorial Regional Literary Competition
Barnes students participated in interschool competitions in Mumbai on 22–23 August 2025, achieving commendable success. They secured 3rd place in Declamation and were awarded Certificates of Participation in Debate and Art. Their accomplishments reflected not only individual effort but also the collective spirit of excellence.
Rochak 2025
From 12–14 September 2025, Barnes students participated in the interschool fest Rochak 2025, winning:
- 1st – Essay Writing & Street Play
- 2nd – Kho Kho (Girls)
- 3rd – Poetry & Bollywood Medley
Unit Test 1 Toppers
September 15th was a proud day as toppers from Grades 9–12 were felicitated for their remarkable results in Unit Test – 1. Their hard work and determination shone brightly, reminding everyone that success is built on consistent effort. Congratulations to all the toppers.
National Boxing Championship
The National Boxing Championship, held from September 17–21, brought immense pride as a Grade 10 student earned the prestigious grey blazer for securing victory. This honor reflected months of hard work, determination, and resilience, making the achievement a shining example for fellow students.
Outstanding Classes – September
October 9 was a day of pride and celebration as classes were honored for their achievements in English, discipline, and cleanliness during September. The awards reflected the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of students who set high standards for themselves and their peers.
Inter-house Senior Cultural Fest
On October 11, Grades 9–12 participated in the Senior Cultural Fest Debate. Results: 1st – Red House; 2nd – Yellow; 3rd – Green; 4th – Blue. Best Speaker – Kabir Khan.
Senior Cultural Fest – Mathletics
Senior Cultural Fest also featured an engaging
Mathletics challenge, where students competed house-wise in a test of logic,
speed, and accuracy.
All four houses participated with great enthusiasm and showcased commendable
problem-solving skills.

Senior Cultural Fest – Quiz
The third event of the Inter-House Senior Cultural Fest
featured an intellectually stimulating quiz competition. Students from all four
houses participated with enthusiasm, showcasing their knowledge, presence of
mind, and teamwork.

District Level Under-6 Skating Competition
On October 14, 2025, Shivansh Sharma (UKG A) won the District Level Under-6 Skating Competition! Congratulations, Shivansh!
CREST Olympiad
Grade I A student Neev Aggarwal was awarded the Star Performance Medal for his achievement in the CREST Mental Math Olympiad. Congratulations, Neev!
Air Force Day Competitions
On 8th October, Barnes celebrated Air Force Day with essay and drawing competitions across all grades, honoring the bravery of the Indian Air Force. Winners were felicitated for their hard work, dedication, and creativity. Congratulations to all!
Outstanding Classes – October
On 5th November, we felicitated the most outstanding classes for the month of
October. Awards were presented in three key categories: English Proficiency,
Discipline, and Cleanliness — recognizing excellence across Primary, Middle,
and Senior School divisions. Congratulations to all!
